I hold both a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Development and a Professional Clear Teaching Credential (k-12) from the state of California. I am a certified Peaceful Parent Coach and Educator.
Over the years, I have taught in preschools, elementary schools, and at the college level and have worked in private, public, and charter schools.
Most importantly, I am a parent to two teenagers (who were once infants and toddlers!), so have first-hand experience in navigating the challenging road of child-rearing.
Services
Private Coaching
I offer one-hour Zoom sessions for individuals and couples at a rate of $150/hour
In order to maximize learning and growth, I encourage a minimum of six sessions to begin.
Workshops
I offer workshops for small groups based on Dr. Laura Markham's Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids resources.
We will delve into your most pressing parenting concerns and build skills and community in the process.
Being a parent in our world is as tough of a job as there is. We have little support, less time, fewer family members nearby, and are often sleep-deprived. It’s so hard!
And yet, all around us advice and information about the 'right way' to parent abound–in social media, traditional media, our extended families–and many of us struggle with how to navigate our way through all the noise.
My role is to help you be the parent you want to be. Our sessions will be a space for you to share with me your unique struggles, your hopes, and your worries. I will help you make sense of the noise by sharing my knowledge of effective parenting strategies and the fundamentals of child development. Together, we will build a personalized repertoire of tools and skills that will allow you to joyfully connect with your children at every age and stage, even into adulthood.
